Approximately 208sqm single storey extension with roof level louvered plant room, to the existing radiology department within Connolly Hospital. The works will include the full fit out of the new extension with typical hospital finishes for clinical & non-clinical rooms. The works will also include mechanical and electrical as specialist sub-contracts. The full surrounding radiology department will remain operational throughout the works. A separate tender for the provision and installation of specialist equipment will be undertaken seperate from this contract. The footprint of the new build is congested with underground services, and diversions will be required. Survey information for this will be provided at Tender stage. The Interventional Suite is the next phase of a wider Radiology development plan, which will be constructed under a future construction contract, and is not part of this tender competition. This stage of the plan will require working within live acute hospital departments adjacent to live MRI and CT suites, as well emergency access routes. Restrictions and flexibility on working hours, working methods, noise pollution, timing and location of deliveries, dust control will form part of any final contract. Applicants must demonstrate experience in projects with some of the above characteristics in order to pre- qualify.
