Permission for – The proposed Part 1 Storey and Part 2 Storey extension (5552m2 Approx) to the Northern and Western sides of existing Baush and Lomb Ireland facility. This extension is to include new production facilities, storage areas, offices, link corridors and staff accommodation. This is also to include new plant rooms and to include minor internal and external modifications, and the provision of mezzanine storage area to the existing building. These works are to include all associated plant and equipment, site works, site fencing, signage, staff parking facilities and alterations to internal road network and drainage. To include temporary contractors compound and road access from the Old Kilmeaden Road to facilitate the proposed works. The current activities on site require an Industrial Emissions Licence – This application is to be accompanied by a Natura Impact Statement (NIS). This application relates to development for the purposes of an activity requiring an Industrial Emissions Licence.
