Permission for development at this site. The development consists of a revision to existing masterplan, permission granted Reg. Ref. FW09A/0061. The development will be carried out in two phases. Phase 1 of the development will consist of an extension to the existing Irish Institute of Sport Building. The new extension will be a single storey extension with a floor area of 3,060sqm used for high performance sports training. The facility will consist of 120m , four lane sprint track and conditioning area, mixed use training zone, boxing gym, medical treatment rooms, relaxation zone and changing facilities. The development will involve the demolition of the existing standalone single storey plant room buildings. The facility will also consist of an extension to the existing car park with an additional 34 spaces being provided to the 26 spaces currently on site. A bicycle stand with 30 spaces will be provided in this phase. Phase 2 of the development will consist of the refurbishment of an existing concrete frame building to the rear of the FAI offices. This building will be known as the Campus Pavilion Building. This building will be a two storey building with a total floor area of 805 sqm. The building will consist of 4 no. sports changing rooms at ground floor level and conference facilities at first floor level. The development will consist of 44 new car parking spaces to the rear of the building and a hard standing social area creating a link to phase 1 of the development. A bicycle stand with 20 spaces will be provided in this phase.
