The contract consists of the provision of a biological secondary treatment process (the Works) that will result in the expansion of the existing Ringsend Wastewater Treatment Works by a Population Equivalent of 400,000. The Works are located within the existing operational Ringsend WWTP and will involve substantial interfaces with the existing facilities and the incumbent WWTP operator. The incumbent WWTP operator will be responsible for undertaking some works at the interface points. The outline design (including layout and general arrangement of facilities) for the Works has been produced by the Contracting Entity
