The development of a wind farm. The wind farm will consist of six turbines with a hub height of 80-85m and a maximum blade tip height of up to 131m, together with a borrow pit, permanent anemometry mast, upgrading of existing site tracks and access roads, the construction of new site tracks and hard standing areas, electrical control building and compound, under ground cabling and site works. This will replace a previous permission for a wind farm on this site granted under Planning Register 09/704. An appropriate period of ten years (duration of the permission to construct the development) is sought, with an operational life of 25 years after the date of commissioning. An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) accompanies this application.
