The development will consist of: Amendments to the previously approved development (Planning Ref.12/324 and An Bord Pleanla Ref: 241077) Dairy Processing and Manufacturing Facility for the manufacture and development of dairy products. There will be a reduction in overall floor area of the previously approved development from 24,597 sq.m to 24,268 sq.m. The amendments include a reduction in overall height of the existing drier tower of 4.85 metres (from 45.1 metres to 40.25 metres high approx); an additional staircase, service elevator and support rooms to the five-storey Production Building; two two-storey extensions to the Production Building, one with silos; an alcove extension with silos; a new two-storey Milk Testing Building; relocation of the truck wash shelter; amendments to the security building; and minor amendments to: ancillary buildings, plant and equipment, landscaping, security fencing; an additional 10 no. car parking spaces; and a new truck parking.
