For development at a site of c.2.22 ha at Sean Purcell Road, Tuam. The site lies within the grounds of the former Grove Hospital and is generally bound by the Glebe housing to the east, Sean Purcell Road and disused Tuam Railway Station and tracks to the south and HSE ambulance base and Pinegrove medical practice to the west. Proposed development to comprise the construction of a 2-storey building to accommodate a primary healthcare centre (c.2,590 sqm gross floor area) with associated medical c.
Update September 2017: The centre is in construction with a projected opening for late this year.
