Increasing Trend in Construction Project Commencements
A steady increase in construction project commencements has been identified since the introduction of new building regulations at the end of Q1 2014. Since Q2 2014 the Irish construction sector has seen a consistent quarter on quarter increase from €313m in Q2 2014 to €1.368bn at the end of Q1 2015 in construction project commencements. This is a very positive sign for the industry and it will be interesting to see if this trend continues during this quarter.
